Londoner #394| Marko - why I draw | Marko’s creative world

Marko discovered his love for art through drawing, cutting, and creating characters—animals, humans, and superheroes. Bright colors like red, blue, pink, purple, and yellow bring his imagination to life. Encouraged by friends and teachers, he shares his artwork in classrooms, cafés, and around his community. Inspired by video games and comic book heroes like Spider-Man and Iron Man, Marko channels that energy into his own unique creations. His favourite artists, include Tove Jansson who influences how he uses colour and design. For Marko, drawing isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way to express himself, build confidence, and spread joy. This film is part of a SEND series, funded by Wandsworth Council as part of the Liberty Festival and London Borough of Culture.
