All You Can Eat

All You Can Eat

On June 16, 1000 Londoners invites you to a filmic dinner. We return to the Ritzy after a run of sold-out screenings with a collection of fascinating short documentaries all about the food of London. Have a seat and enjoy the cuisine on screen – there will also be some tasty treats.

Tracking the journey from the seeds sown to the meals served, this screening is a celebration of food and the passionate, talented and diligent Londoners behind it. We meet an allotment gardener devoted to his plot, a Syrian refugee inviting  Londoners to supper and a colourful candy maker.

Our food journey takes you beyond traditional breakfast and lunch. We learn about the future of food through perfume and find out how James tastes everything he hears. 1000 Londoners’ new short documentaries will be beautifully interwoven with archive footage of Londoners and their food in the past century. Following the screening is a Q&A with the filmmakers and contributors in the films.

Hungry for human stories and mouthwatering at London’s plates? We look forward to seeing you at the Ritzy Picturehouse, Brixton June 16, 7pm!
