Looking After London

Looking After London

Looking After London meets the Londoners who give their time to care for our city and the people in it. This selection of thumbnail documentaries explores the lives of individuals who look after people and places, examining their motivations, aspirations and reflections on caring in London. Its subjects range from those hosting homeless refugees, to befrienders of the elderly, to life coaching. The evening will aim to give an insight into human stories that are easily overlooked in a bustling metropolis, but deserve to be told nonetheless.

Just a selection of the shorts we’ll be screening…

The screening will run for approximately an hour and be followed by Q&As by filmmakers and the documentary subjects themselves.

Tickets are £7 at The Lexi Cinema and £5 at The Hackney Picturehouse.
