Ra'id in Islington is 11-20 and is a student and Tae Kwon Do player.
Ra’id does the Korean martial art Tae Kwon Do to control his anger, instil a sense of discipline and make him feel at ease and calm. His dad does Jiu Jitsu and he inspired him to take up the sport. Ra’id loves anime TV shows and he wants to implement martial arts into a TV show of his own one day.
This film was created by a group of young filmmakers aged 13 – 19 during a project that took place over summer 2019 at Platform Youth Hub, Islington. Facilitated by professional filmmakers from Chocolate Films, participants were able to develop key camera & production skills whilst exploring the stories of their chosen Londoner
