Nine Elms Past and Present: Oral History Day

Chocolate Films is holding an Oral History Collection Day at BAC to discover the hidden stories of family life in 1970s and 1980s Battersea and Nine Elms, paying particular attention to recording memories of local working class people.

They would like to invite members of the public to share their own stories and photographs, which will be recorded and digitised for a new oral history collection and exhibition in association with Wandsworth Museum. As we are simultaneously working on producing 1000 Londoners films throughout the project, we’re hoping to meet individuals at the event who may have an interesting story to tell. This project is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is part of the Wandsworth Heritage Festival.

Tickets are free and can be booked here.
