Sam in is and is Director of Morning Gloryville.

Sam poses a skill she describes as “telempathy”, which is the power to hear others emotions. She discovered this power “whilst making love with my partner, I realised I could hear all her thoughts and emotions.” It doesn’t matter what Sam is doing, if she gets a call from somebody in need, she has to drop everything and help.

In this film, we join Sam as she reflects on her past and describes how after years of living a hedonistic lifestyle, setting up her business, ‘Morning Gloryville’, to “spread love and help people from all walks of life.”

Morning Gloryville first started in East London in 2013, and is now operating in over 20 other cities around the globe, including Toronto, Paris and Los Angeles. Part immersive experience and part early morning rave, this special gathering is now attended by thousands of people, who are granted the opportunity to be ‘anyone they want to be’ and ‘do anything they want to do’.

  • What's your first memory of London? Going to see Starlight Express when I was seven.
  • What do you miss when you're away from London? The overflow of creativity.

  • What's your ideal day out in London? I've always wanted to be blindfolded and taken to different sites around London and asked to guess where I am, based on the sounds and smells.
  • What's your ideal night out in London? Partying in my pants in a tent.
  • What's your most hated building? That's a bit harsh!

  • What's your favourite open space? Holland park and by the river.

  • What's been your most memorable night out in London? I can't remember it, but I know it was good.
  • How would you like to spend your ideal day off in London? Crystal shopping, helping someone, swimming and being with trees.
  • Where would you take someone visiting from out of town? Little Venice, on Regents canal.
  • What's the worst journey you've had to make in London? The one when I got caught in the rain.
