Jamie in Wandsworth is 41-50 and is Ice Sculptor.
Jamie is one of the few Ice Sculptors in London. Prior to sculpting, Jamie studied English at Oxford then subsequently focused on theatre for a while; producing and directing plays. But it was the urge for craftsmanship which only Ice Sculpting could satisfy that lured him into the family business.

- What's your first memory of London? Being at home in a little cottage in Putney Common with the family during a hot summer in 1976. I remember lots of ants in the front room and not getting to sleep because of the heat.
- What do you miss when you're away from London? The river and the pubs surrounding it. Especially around Putney, Barnes and Kew
- What's your favourite neighbourhood? Putney, where I was born and bred.
- What's your favourite building? The National Theatre and the Southbank Centre. I like the brutality of it.
- What's your ideal day out in London? All day at the Oval with my friends watching the Ashes.
- What's your ideal night out in London? A winter's night. I'd like a cosy pub with my wife and friends. Or the local restaurant with nice food which isn't fancy. Just somewhere dark and cosy.
- What's your most hated building? I don’t have one. We’re designing sculptures all the time so we understand that a lot of thought goes into the process of a building; the design, engineering and labour. You can't just dismiss it subjectively.
- What's the best view in London? The 360 degree view from Waterloo Bridge.
- What's your favourite open space? The river front at Putney where the Duke's Head pub is, looking over the river to Fulham Football Club.
- What's the most interesting shop? Liberty on Regent Street.
- What's your favourite place to hang out? Richmond park. Especially a weekend afternoon with Elizabeth my wife and the children having a run around.
- What's been your most memorable night out in London? Going to the Sam Wannamaker Playhouse - which is part of the Shakespeare Globe Theatre - to see L'Ormindo. It's a beautiful renaissance indoor theatre which is lit with candles.
- How would you like to spend your ideal day off in London? I like to walk when I'm not in a hurry. I walk even if it takes me ages, or catching the bus rather than the tube.
- Where would you take someone visiting from out of town? Sir John Soane's Museum. He was an 18th century character who collected lots of things.
- What's the worst journey you've had to make in London? Anytime I'm leaving London without my family.
- What's your personal London landmark? The Southbank Centre. It's been part of my life for a long time. I always associate the arts and the river with my childhood.
- Who's your favourite fictional Londoner? Sherlock Holmes.
- What's your favourite London film, book or documentary? Book – 'Bleak House' or 'Our Mutual Friend' by Charles Dickens.
- If you could travel to any time period in London, past or future, where would you go? The late medieval to early modern times to see the river frost over and the old London bridge.
- For you, who is the ultimate Londoner? There isn't one person who can capture modern London.
