1000 Londoners at Vue Cinemas from today!
When you think of Londoners gracing the big screen who comes to mind? Michael Caine? Rachel Weisz? Ray Winstone? Well, from today, when you go to Vue Cinemas in Leicester Square and Piccadilly you’ll be just as likely to see Marawa, Griff or Sara.
Films from 1000 Londoners can now be seen before big screen blockbusters within two Vue London locations, Vue West End and Vue Piccadilly, both located in heart of the iconic West End. So now these quintessentially London short films can be seen in the greatest way we can imagine, on the big screen in Leicester Square. We can’t tell you which London you’ll see before which feature but we can imagine the discerning Martin fitting in perfectly before “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, or our action hero John before “Captain America, The Winter Soldier”?
1000 Londoners director, Mark Currie and Londoner Andy are appearing on the BBC London 94.9 breakfast show with Paul Ross and Penny Smith, and Daniel Onyia, who made the films John and George, is appearing on Wake Up London on London Live this morning.
The ten films will be screened at Vue Piccadilly and Vue West End from 9 May 2014. Go to myvue.com to book tickets
