1000 Londoners Showing Across the City!

Things are starting to get incredibly exciting for the 1000 Londoners project. Well, things have been exciting since we launched in April but the project is now starting to take on a life of it’s own!

Whilst all the films have been available on 1000Londoners.com, YouTube and Vimeo, we have always been incredibly keen on the idea of getting the 1000 Londoners films out and about across the capital. If this sounds up your alley and you want to see all of our Londoners films in cinemas, galleries and museums then you’re about to get very very happy…

Vue Picadilly, Londoners by Londoners Launch Event

On 3rd September we are launching the next phase of the 1000 Londoners project! You can be amongst the first to see 15 new 1000 Londoners films all made by different Londoners across the city. There are films about a BBC Radio 1 producer, an incredible story of adoption, a young person who escaped gang life through performance and someone who dresses permanently like it is 1780! The Londoners and the filmmakers will all be in attendance so feel free to stay behind after the screenings and investigate all these amazing stories even further.

You can get free to tickets to this fantastic event by clicking this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/1000-londoners-tickets-5574645916

Plus, stay on for their evening social afterwards! Unlike any other event this is simply for the purpose of talking to new people. Discover the diverse people of London – everyone welcome! https://www.facebook.com/events/1496050203970024/?notif_t=plan_user_joined

Londoner #23, Sophie at the Ritzy

You can still see Londoner #23, Sophie, on the big screen before showings of certain films. Half of the film takes place at the Ritzy as well which, if you think about it, means that you can watch the film in 4D…in a way… It’s all very exciting though.
